Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead a team of Project Managers and deliver project management services on major projects. The role focuses on service excellence, growth of PM offerings, client engagement, and market outreach.

The successful candidate will be a driven leader with strong interpersonal skills, able to work within Eastern or Central time zones and manage diverse teams across sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
• Graduate degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• 2+ years managing large high performing multi discipline teams in a consulting environment.
• Proven track record of managing successful project management service delivery for clients.
• Exceptional Business development ambition and acumen and demonstrated experience in achieving drive business growth.
• Major construction sector experience working with high caliber clients in; commercial real estate, data center, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, natural resources, etc.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project management team and ensure delivery on all accountabilities.
• Oversee client communications and PM services.
• Conduct research on construction market conditions and publish insights.
• Produce thought leadership reports on the construction market.
• Manage strategic and operational aspects of PM Services across sectors including resource and financial management, business development, and training.
• Set strategy with the team aligned to the Business Plan.
• Develop people and foster a culture of learning, respect and inclusivity.
• Capture key learnings into internal databases and share them.
