Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN is seeking a Director of Patient Access to lead admission, reception, and scheduling across our rural health system. The role emphasizes simplifying care, improving the patient experience, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will develop operational policies, train staff, and collaborate with providers and IT to optimize scheduling and EMR workflows. A minimum of 5–7 years in healthcare management and at least 3 years in director-level leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of healthcare management, preferably progressive leadership in patient access/admissions/revenue cycle.
• Minimum of 3 years of director-level experience overseeing multiple managers and staff in a healthcare system.

This role is pivotal in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to enhance the patient check-in experience and compliance with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA and FTC Red Flag Rules. The director collaborates closely with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and IT to optimize scheduling protocols and use of the electronic medical records system. Key responsibilities also include staff training and performance management, focusing on exceptional customer service and effective communication across all levels of the organization. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
