Qualifications

• Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred
• 5+ years proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control
• Proven track record in leading a successful team
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures
• Ensure warehouse layout optimizes space and operational efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels and prevent shortages or excess
• Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies
• Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff
• Schedule and supervise staff to ensure optimal performance and coverage
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards
• Implement and enforce safety training programs for warehouse staff
• Oversee timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders
• Address and resolve issues related to order processing or delivery
• Ensure high standards of customer service
• Oversee maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and conveyors
• Ensure all equipment is operated safely and in accordance with regulations
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and staff productivity
• Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to warehouse processes and procedures
• Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
