Job Title: Nursing Director

Salary & Benefits: 110-140K+ Annual Incentive Opportunity + Full Benefits

Role Overview: This leadership role supports the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in overseeing all nursing and patient care functions within the hospital. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices across multiple units. The role requires 24/7 accountability for designated areas, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and resource management.

Position Summary

The Director manages resources for one or two departments on a 24-hour basis, including budget management, resource utilization, staff recruitment and management, quality outcomes, performance improvement, and maintaining positive relationships with staff and other departments. Completes required competencies within the designated introductory period and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or a related field

Minimum Experience

• 5 years in a relevant discipline or specialty

Preferred Experience

• 3-5 years of progressively responsible management experience

Certifications & Licensure

• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse

Preferred Certifications

• Specialty or Administration certification desired

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Additional Education & Experience

• Required: Associate degree with a Bachelor's in a healthcare-related field or BSN; 2 years of management experience in a hospital setting
