Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Director, Technology Strategy & Execution (IT PMO) to shape the enterprise portfolio, maximize strategic value, and ensure initiatives deliver on time, within scope, and on budget. This remote-facing role drives governance, risk management, and value realization across a nationwide IT program portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 10–12+ years in IT PMO leadership, PMP certification, and strong ability to influence executives, manage vendors, and coach a high-performing team

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of IT project/program management experience.
• Proven experience evolving a PMO from execution-focused to value-driven.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Planview experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape the IT PMO portfolio to drive strategic business value.
• Lead the adoption of Planview and AI-driven insights.
• Coach and develop a high-performing PMO team.
• Partner with executives to assess risks and dependencies.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure value delivery.
