Cardinal Health is seeking an accomplished Director of IT Program Management (Enterprise Infrastructure PMO) to drive portfolio outcomes from strategy to execution. This fully remote, nationwide role partners with senior leaders to align initiatives with corporate priorities and to optimize delivery across complex technology programs.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years leading multi-year transformations, strong executive communication, and experience with enterprise governance and Planview.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading complex technology programs, portfolios, or strategic initiatives.
• Ability to influence outcomes across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
• Experience with vendor, consulting partner, and contractual relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, enterprise-critical initiatives with executive visibility.
• Own initiative health and drive decisions, accountability, and momentum.
• Orchestrate work across business and tech teams, identifying dependencies and risks.
• Establish structure and accountability as processes evolve.
• Provide leadership across initiatives, guiding project and program managers.
• Influence leaders and external partners to remove obstacles and drive outcomes.
• Provide actionable recommendations and risk-informed decisions to senior leaders.
• Communicate initiative health, decisions, and opportunities clearly.
• Strengthen operating models and governance for sustainable delivery.
