Amentum is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead strategic BD efforts within the Intelligence and Cyber (I&C) Business Group. This role oversees a team of BD and account managers and is responsible for growing an executable pipeline and developing account plans for major customers in the IC community.

Reporting to the Senior VP of Growth and Strategy, the position is based primarily in Herndon/Chantilly, VA with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an Active Top Secret/SCI US Government Clearance. Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of intelligence-related BD/capture experience.
• Deep understanding of IC capabilities: IT, SW development, Cyber, Data Analytics or Intelligence Analysis; track record above $100M with IC customers in DC area.
• Experience in building and managing an opportunity pipeline and leading multi-million-dollar BD/capture efforts.
• Knowledge of Government budget and acquisition processes; strong team leadership and cross-functional influence.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience briefing executives; proficient with CRM, MS 365 and SharePoint.

Responsabilités

• Lead a BD team for the I&C market and oversee multiple opportunities.
• Engage clients, negotiate, and facilitate strategy workshops.
• Develop and execute customer engagement plans for events and opportunities.
• Represent I&C to pursue cross-functional opportunities across Amentum groups.
