Job summary
Amentum seeks a Director of Business Development to lead the Intelligence and Cyber (I&C) Business Group. You will guide a team of BD and account management pros, grow and qualify an executable pipeline, and develop account plans for major customers to capture near- to long-term opportunities.
The ideal candidate brings IC understanding and deep government contracting growth experience, reports to the Senior VP of Growth and Strategy, with travel up to 25% and a primary work location in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years of intelligence-related BD/capture experience preferred.
- Deep IC capability knowledge in IT, software development, cyber, data analytics or intelligence analysis.
- Experience leading multi-million-dollar BD/capture efforts and building/managing an opportunity pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead BD professionals for the I&C market and manage multiple opportunities.
- Develop and execute customer engagement plans for industry events and customers.
- Align BD goals with P&L objectives and cross-functional teams to win opportunities.
- Identify and qualify a robust pipeline and provide pipeline analysis and reporting.
