Job summary

CesiumAstro in Washington, DC seeks a Director of Business Development focused on US national security and intelligence markets. You will lead marketing, sales, and opportunities, interfacing with engineering and product teams to shape tailored solutions and win strategic contracts.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in aerospace BD, deep government contracting knowledge, and a proven record of winning campaigns from inception to engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field; master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant BD experience in space or aerospace.
• Experience leading new business capture, classified proposals, and DoD contracts.
• Experience coordinating engineers and PMs for tailored solutions.
• Knowledge of government contracting and acquisition trends.
• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain US national security market opportunities including RFI/RFP responses.
• Lead marketing and sales efforts to grow CesiumAstro's government portfolio.
• Interface with engineering and product teams to articulate market needs.
• Contribute to strategic and R&D roadmaps to drive top-line revenue growth.
• Present to senior stakeholders and customer executives.
