Job summary

Year Up United is seeking a Director, Corporate Engagement – Business Development to lead new enterprise partnerships and drive growth across multiple geographies. You will build C-suite relationships, shape employer partnerships, and ensure high-quality internships and professional development for Year Up United students.

This is a high-exposure, mission-driven sales leadership role. Starting January 2026, this role requires regular in-person presence, with on-site work two days per week, and

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of professional experience in business development and/or consultative sales to enterprise-level accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close new business, and manage annual sales targets of $5M+.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to engage across levels, including C-suite.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of target accounts from local to national, driving top-down sales.
• Meet or exceed performance indicators including internship placements and revenue from new partners.
• Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to showcase the Year Up United model and outcomes.
• Engage executive decision-makers to close new business and transition accounts to ongoing management.
