Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering leadership in SaaS or platform companies.
• Scaled an org from <10 to >30 IC engineers.
• Hands-on with Go, Python, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of the modern AI stack (LLMs, SLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs).
• Translate business requirements into technical scope for squads.
• Change management in fast-moving tech environments.
• Proven hiring capabilities at scale.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering across the org.

Responsibilities

• Run the engineering org day-to-day, reporting to the engineering leader.
• Own delivery across all squads and the hiring pipeline.
• Re-plan quickly in response to changing tech and priorities.
• Deliver on timelines with working software demos weekly.
• Own squad performance and the hiring bar.
• Translate business needs into technical scope for squads.
• Manage cross-squad dependencies and engineering rhythm.
• Escalate and unblock blocked work promptly.
