Job summary

TTEC Digital is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for a fully remote role. You will join a fast-moving AI CX-tools group, leading platform architecture decisions and mentoring engineers while shipping production-ready code.

The role focuses on building scalable, AI-enabled distributed systems across multi-cloud environments, with a startup mindset and enterprise backing. Ideal candidates own 12+ years, are fluent in Go, and comfortable with Python/TypeScript, and are adept at debugging

Qualifications

• 12+ years hands-on software experience across multiple languages.
• Senior-level Go is mandatory; Python and TypeScript expected.
• Deep understanding of high-capacity distributed systems and failure modes.
• Experience with multiple messaging systems and databases.
• Proven experience integrating AI into codebases.
• Two clouds minimum, with emphasis on GCP as the deep one.

Responsibilities

• Be the right-hand to engineering leader and part of the org’s leadership team.
• Own platform architecture decisions alongside the engineering leader.
• Ship reference implementations and mentor engineers.
• Integrate AI-powered features and tooling into products.
• Hands-on debugging and troubleshooting in production environments.
