Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team across North America, driving design for HV/MV/LV systems and supporting energy-from-waste facilities.

You will oversee capital projects, feasibility studies, and safety/compliance programs while collaborating with cross-functional leaders to ensure technically sound, economical outcomes. A PE license is preferred and travel ~30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 15–20 years in electrical engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience with MV/HV systems and electrical design across large facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical Design Engineering team and oversee design for energy-from-waste facilities.
• Manage capital projects and technical programs within electrical disciplines.
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards and specifications.
• Provide operations support and manage external engineering partners.
• Mentor SMEs and drive continuous improvement and safety practices.
