Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team across 30+ facilities in North America. You will oversee HV, MV, and LV electrical design, protect relaying, and transformer systems while coordinating with site teams and partners.

The role reports to the VP of Engineering, drives capital projects and technical standards, and supports budgeting, scheduling, and risk management with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 15–20 years in electrical engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV electrical designs and plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Design Engineering team across 30+ facilities in North America.
• Direct capital projects and ensure electrical design standards are upheld.
• Oversee feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments for projects.
• Collaborate with site/regional teams and external engineering partners.
• Support talent development, budgeting, and project prioritization.
