Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team for Energy-from-Waste operations across North America. You will guide electrical infrastructure design for HV, MV, and LV systems, including breakers, transformers, MCCs, and protection schemes.

The role partners with cross-functional leaders, drives capital projects, and supports feasibility studies and long-term asset planning.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years in electrical engineering
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
• Experience with MV/HV systems and electrical design teams

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Design Engineering team across energy-from-waste facilities
• Oversee capital projects and electrical infrastructure design
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards library
• Provide engineering support to operations and upgrades
• Manage external engineering partners and FEL processes
• Mentor SMEs and drive talent development
