Job summary

S:US in New York, NY seeks a Director of Development Operations to build and lead the fundraising operations infrastructure, governance, and reporting.

Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy, you will supervise the Fundraising Database and Administrative Manager, drive CRM strategy, data quality, dashboards, and cross‑functional coordination with Finance, IT, Programs, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of nonprofit development operations or related fundraising systems experience.
• Hands-on CRM administration, reporting, and business processes.
• At least 3 years of staff supervision.
• Advanced experience with Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or a comparable fundraising/advancement CRM.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Development Operations roadmap aligned with philanthropy goals and priorities.
• Own CRM governance, data quality, and adoption; oversee system configuration and integrations.
• Oversee gift processing, acknowledgments, revenue reconciliation, and policy development.
• Design dashboards and reports for revenue, pipeline, forecasting, and performance.
• Lead change management, staff training, and cross‑functional coordination with Finance and IT.
• Supervise the Fundraising Database and Administrative Manager and build a culture of service and accuracy.
