Job summary

S:US seeks a Director of Development Operations to build and lead the operational infrastructure for philanthropy growth. You will drive systems, data, and processes while coaching the Fundraising Database and Administrative Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy.

This role spans governance, reporting, and staff development in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. You will guide CRM governance, data quality, and adoption, orchestrate a future CRM strategy, and partner

Qualifications

• 7+ years in nonprofit development operations or related fundraising systems.
• Hands-on CRM administration with reporting and business-process design.
• 3+ years of staff supervision or leadership experience.
• Advanced experience with Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, or similar CRM.
• Experience with gift processing, revenue reconciliation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Development Operations with a phased roadmap aligned to goals.
• Own CRM governance, data quality, and adoption across the team.
• Oversee gift processing, acknowledgments, and revenue reconciliation.
• Design dashboards and recurring reports for revenue, pipeline, and forecasting.
• Develop prospect, portfolio, and fundraising enablement systems.
• Document procedures, manage change, and train staff.
