CesiumAstro is seeking a Director of Applications Engineering to lead a customer-facing technical organization that ensures customers can understand, integrate, operate, and deploy our satellite communication products.

You will own the Voice of the Customer within the product organization, translating customer feedback, integration experiences, and operational data into actionable product requirements and roadmaps.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field with 11–15 years of related experience in applications/systems/product engineering or related fields.
• Master's degree with 9–12 years, or PhD with 7–10 years in relevant roles.

Responsabilidades

• Build, lead and develop a high-performing customer-facing technical team with deep expertise in CesiumAstro products.
• Establish Applications Engineering as the primary technical interface for customers deploying products.
• Ensure customers have guidance, documentation, tools, training, and support to integrate and operate products.
• Capture customer needs and translate them into input for Product and Engineering.
• Partner with Product to identify recurring needs and usability gaps to influence roadmap.
• Maintain deep product knowledge through collaboration with development teams and labs.
• Support proposals, demos, and customer engagements with technical content and configurations.
• Establish processes for customer integration, testing, and operation including rapid issue diagnosis.
• Own the quality of customer-facing technical content and reference architectures.
• Develop reference architectures and standard solutions to reduce engineering effort across customers.
