CesiumAstro is seeking a Director of Applications Engineering to lead a hands-on, customer-facing technical organization responsible for understanding, integrating, operating, and deploying products. The role reports to product leadership and collaborates with engineering, BD, and program teams to align customer needs with product strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 11–15 years of related experience in applications engineering, systems engineering, product engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of leadership or management experience in relevant teams.
• Extensive experience directing customer integration and deployment of complex systems.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into product and documentation improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the customer-facing Applications Engineering team and develop deep product expertise.
• Own the technical product/customer interface for integration and deployment.
• Drive adoption by providing guidelines, documentation, tools, training, and support.
• Capture Voice of the Customer and translate into actionable input for product roadmaps.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, BD, and programs to shape solutions.
