Job summary

St. Vincent’s SB invites applications for Program Director to oversee the Fr. Virgil Cordano Center’s operations. You will lead administrative functions, implement policies, and promote collaboration with community agencies. The role includes direct case management with Center members and coordinating volunteer programs.

You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and report to senior leadership. A strong commitment to serving the underserved and homeless is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience in social services.
• Minimum of five years in an administrative role managing a team.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to de-escalate conflict and work with underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, planning, management and monitoring of the Center’s operations.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Program Director in carrying out duties.
• Conduct case management with Center members and document notes.
• Manage intake and orientation for Companionship Club members.
• Supervise and evaluate volunteers with the Director of Volunteers.
• Attend and record minutes at meetings; maintain calendars and contacts.
