Job summary

Northeastern University in Boston seeks a Director of Outreach & Programming to lead the Office of City & Community Engagement. You will develop, coordinate, administer, and evaluate community programs and partnerships that connect residents, businesses, and organizations around the campus.

You will work with CCE leadership to set goals and budgets, oversee program creation, track outcomes, and expand Northeastern Crossing and other community spaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in community engagement, program management or similar.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of Boston communities such as Roxbury, Mission Hill, Fenway, and the South End.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, administer, and evaluate community programs.
• Lead partnerships and initiatives for campus and city engagement.
• Collaborate with CCE staff to meet budget and goals.
• Attend events and represent the university externally.
• Advance Northeastern Crossing and community spaces on campus.
• Oversee program development and tracking of outcomes.
