Northeastern University in New York City seeks a Program Coordinator to help develop and implement campus programs that enrich the co-curricular experience for students. This role supports events, leadership development, and administrative functions with some evening and weekend work.

The role emphasizes inclusion and community-building, requiring collaboration with student leaders, campus departments, and external partners to deliver impactful programming and well-run events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in belonging, inclusion, and community-building work.
• Strong program/event planning, execution, and management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office as part of a team.
• Ability to manage budgets and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Foster student engagement and coordinate meaningful student-centered events.
• Build relationships with student leaders, organizations, campus departments, and partners.
• Design and coordinate marketing plans for department programs and events.
• Support programming calendar of the Intercultural Center.
• Oversee administrative tasks including Engage, general office management, and serving as the first point of contact for the office.
• Manage vendors and service providers (catering, security, AV) related to areas of responsibility.
