Job summary

Prosper seeks a Director of Collections Strategy & Analytics to lead analytics across Personal Loans and Credit Card portfolios. You will drive AI/ML, loss forecasting, and end-to-end collection strategies, reporting to the VP of Collections & Recoveries.

The role requires 10+ years in financial services analytics, strong leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. You will champion rigorous experimentation, portfolio analytics, and KPI governance while partnering with Risk, Marketing,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 10+ years leading advanced analytics and modeling teams in financial services.
• Experience in consumer lending collections or credit risk management.
• Proven track record building analytics teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Fluent in statistical modeling, segmentation, loss forecasting, and modern analytics workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML & BI capabilities to drive actionable insights.
• Own loss forecasting models, validate and benchmark methodologies.
• Design and evaluate experiments (A/B, multivariate) to optimize strategies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify risk drivers at segment level.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure strategic efficiency and returns.
• Architect end-to-end collection strategies for early and late-stage recovery.
