Prosper Marketplace is seeking a Director, Collections Strategy & Analytics to lead the analytics function within Collections & Recoveries. You will direct teams responsible for data-driven strategies across personal loans and card portfolios, leveraging AI/ML and modern data stacks to improve collection effectiveness and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field as listed.
• 10+ years leading advanced analytics and modeling teams in financial services or credit risk.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and communicate insights clearly.
• Deep expertise in statistical modeling, segmentation, loss forecasting, and modern analytics workflows; fluency with SQL, Python/R, and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics teams to design, test, and deploy data-driven strategies across the credit lifecycle.
• Own loss forecasting models, validate methodologies, and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Develop and govern KPIs and dashboards for portfolio performance and strategy tracking.
• Partner with Credit Risk, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations to deploy strategies.
