Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Webster, TX seeks a Director of Clinical Learning to oversee clinical experiences across all nursing programs, align with curriculum outcomes, accreditation standards, and state board requirements, while supporting the college mission.

The role leads faculty placement, schedules, evaluations, and partnerships with clinical agencies, reporting to the Dean and collaborating with the Clinical Performance and Experience team to ensure high-quality student learning.

Qualifications

• MSN required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure in the applicable state required.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical education experience required.
• Academic leadership experience preferred.
• Academic nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical experiences and evaluation to ensure alignment with curriculum outcomes and accreditation standards.
• Lead faculty placement, orientation, and performance evaluations.
• Negotiate and maintain clinical affiliation agreements with agencies.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to manage budgets and resources.
• Ensure student policies and clinical site compliance across programs.
