Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking a Director of Clinical Learning to operationalize standardized clinical experiences across all nursing programs. You will oversee negotiation, arrangement, and evaluation of clinical site partnerships while ensuring alignment with curriculum outcomes and accreditation standards.

You will lead faculty placement, conduct performance evaluations, and collaborate with campus leadership to support teaching excellence and student success in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• MSN required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Unencumbered RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical education experience.
• Academic leadership experience preferred.
• Academic nursing certification preferred.
• Established relationships with clinical facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical experiences across nursing programs ensuring alignment with curriculum outcomes and accreditation requirements.
• Lead negotiations and maintenance of clinical site partnerships; ensure proper evaluation of experiential learning.
• Direct scheduling, course assignments, and workload for faculty in clinical education.
• Provide supervision to full-time and adjunct clinical faculty; support rank and promotion processes.
