Galen College of Nursing seeks a Director of Clinical Learning to oversee clinical experiences across all nursing programs by leading partnerships, scheduling, and evaluation of site affiliations. You will ensure experiences align with curriculum outcomes, accreditation standards, and state boards.

In this senior role, you will supervise faculty, collaborate with campus leadership, and advance student learning outcomes while maintaining regulatory compliance and advancing the college mission.

Qualifikationen

• MSN required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure in the applicable state required.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical education experience required.
• Academic leadership experience preferred.
• Academic nursing certification preferred.
• Established relationships with clinical facilities and professional nursing organizations preferred.
• Demonstrates core nurse leader competencies: professionalism, communication and relationship management, knowledge of the healthcare environment, business skills and principles, and leadership.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage conflict and build clinical partner relationships.

Aufgaben

• Oversee evaluation of clinical experiences to improve student outcomes and program quality.
• Coordinate scheduling, faculty assignments, and workload in clinical education.
• Lead, attend, and support relevant committee meetings and governance processes.
• Provide strategic oversight of faculty placement and orientation in collaboration with campus leadership.
• Hire and develop faculty and clinical staff; evaluate performance and support promotion processes.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements across sites.
