Job summary

Turbine is a lab without limits, enabling virtual biology for biopharma discovery. We seek a Director of Business Development to drive new business and close commercial opportunities across pharma and biotech customers.

The role blends scientific insight with strong commercial execution and travel up to 30%. You will partner with Marketing, Product and Scientific teams to translate complex AI-enabled capabilities into compelling business value, and you will manage senior customer relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant commercial experience in biopharma or scientific tech.
• Proven ability to originate, structure, negotiate and close complex deals.
• Strong pipeline management and CRM skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, originate and close new opportunities with pharma/biotech customers.
• Own end-to-end sales cycle from outreach to contract signature.
• Develop account plans and expand projects into enterprise licenses.
• Collaborate with Product, Scientific and Delivery teams on customer value.
• Represent Turbine at conferences and executive engagements.
• Meet or exceed revenue targets and maintain CRM forecasts.
