Job summary

HP, Inc. seeks a seasoned engineering leader to head the shared backbone for executable agentic AI on HP PCs and edge devices.

You will own platform capabilities spanning APIs, security, hardware interfaces, data access, and policy frameworks to make agentic features portable, reliable, and efficient. You will drive platform architecture, device integration, and performance optimization across CPU, GPU, NPU and cloud resources while enforcing security, orchestration, and governance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in systems, embedded, device-platform, or AI engineering; 7+ years leading teams and managers.
• Production capabilities integrated into PCs or edge devices with runtime reliability and hardware interfaces.
• Deep understanding of heterogeneous compute, on-device inference, memory hierarchy and power/thermals.
• Strong systems architecture with API compatibility and secure lifecycle management.
• Experience enabling agentic or generative AI systems, orchestration, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Define platform architecture with stable APIs and contracts.
• Lead device integration across runtime, OS services, drivers, firmware and hardware interfaces.
• Guide inference and workload placement across CPU, GPU, NPU and cloud resources; set performance budgets.
• Provide trusted identity, policy enforcement, and secure data access.
• Collaborate with engineering partners to enable features and adoption.
• Lead global AI engineering leadership, balance shared needs, manage talent and debt.
