Job summary

Hewlett Packard Co. seeks a Director of Agentic AI Computing Foundation to lead the engineering org building the shared backbone for executable agentic AI on HP PCs and edge devices.

You will own platform capabilities across APIs, security, hardware interfaces, and data access. Responsibilities include setting the platform roadmap, device integration, and secure lifecycle management across CPU, GPU, NPU, and cloud resources.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in systems, embedded, device-platform, or AI engineering.
• 7+ years leading teams and managing managers/senior architects.
• Production capabilities integrated into PCs or edge devices with runtime reliability.

Responsibilities

• Define platform roadmap for context, identity, discovery, orchestration, governance.
• Lead device integration across runtime, OS services, drivers, firmware, hardware interfaces.
• Guide inference/workload placement across CPU/GPU/NPU/cloud with budgets for latency, memory, power.
• Ensure security with trusted identity, permissions, data access, and auditable actions.
• Collaborate with engineering partners to enable features and adopt shared APIs.
