Job summary

Cubic Defense seeks a Business Development Director to drive U.S. Navy live training markets, including SITL and ACMI, expanding our training capabilities for national and international customers.

The role requires deep Navy relationships (NAVAIR/NAWCTSD/PMA-205), strong capture and proposal leadership, and the ability to shape requirements and program structures from concept through to capture. A bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in defense BD are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 6+ years of U.S. defense business development experience in Navy aviation training and simulation.
• Strong understanding of acquisition processes and program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development for U.S. Navy training markets (Live Air Training, SITL, ACMI).
• Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders (NAVAIR, NAWCTSD, PMA-205).
• Drive pre-capture and capture activities; develop win strategies and pricing inputs.
• Coordinate with proposal teams to deliver compelling technical and pricing volumes.
• Communicate pipeline status to executive leadership and influence roadmap decisions.
