Job summary

Cubic Corporation is seeking a highly driven Business Development Director to expand U.S. Navy live training, SITL, and ACMI markets. This role requires deep relationships with NAVAIR, NAWCTSD, and PMA-205 to shape opportunities from concept through capture.

The candidate will partner with program management, engineering, capture management, and leadership to grow the training business, drive bookings, and position Cubic for long‑term wins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; DoD readiness preferred.
• Proven ability to lead complex BD campaigns and capture efforts.
• Strong communications, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead BD for U.S. Navy training markets (Live Air Training, SITL, ACMI).
• Build and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders and training commands.
• Drive customer intimacy via on-site visits, events, and industry days.
• Identify opportunities within USMC/Navy live training domains.
• Shape requirements and influence solution direction and program structure.
• Lead pre-capture and capture activities; develop win strategies and pricing inputs.
• Lead opportunity gate reviews, risk assessments, and qualification processes.
• Architect teaming relationships and NDAs/MOUs; manage subcontract strategies.
• Collaborate with proposal teams to develop compliant technical, management, and pricing volumes.
• Align solutions with customer missions and tech ecosystems.
