Job summary

DoorDash seeks a Merchant Strategy & Operations Director to lead acquisition, onboarding, and early merchant success. You will own strategy and execution, diversifying our go-to-market approach and ensuring seamless onboarding to the DoorDash marketplace.

You will match customer empathy with analytical rigor to uncover insights, reduce friction, and guide cross-functional teams across product, engineering, sales, and operations to drive merchant growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 10+ years in consulting, strategy, operations, banking, technology with transformation leadership.
• Experience managing large teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to create clarity in complex spaces and articulate vision to partners.
• Owner mindset with responsibility for outcomes and driving direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the acquisition, onboarding and early success for merchants, owning strategy and execution.
• Diversify go-to-market approaches and design seamless merchant onboarding to the DoorDash marketplace.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, analytics, sales and operations to build the merchant experience.
