Job summary

DoorDash’s Merchant Strategy & Operations Director will own both the strategy and execution for acquiring and onboarding merchants, partnering with product, engineering, sales and operations to drive merchant growth and success.

You will translate customer empathy into actionable experiments, analyze data to inform roadmaps, and lead a cross-functional team to deliver measurable outcomes across the merchant lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, banking or technology.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional transformations.
• Ability to create clarity in complex problems and articulate vision to partners.
• Ownership mindset and drive to shape company direction.
• Exceptional written, verbal and visual communication skills.
• Strong business acumen with risk/opportunity assessment.
• Curiosity to innovate and improve.
