Job summary

Capital One’s Enterprise Learning & Development team seeks a forward-thinking Learning Experience Design Manager to architect and lead a team of designers driving leadership and DIB programs. You will guide a portfolio of initiatives, merging human-centered design with modern instructional practices to shape learning for associates across Capital One.

You will mentor reports, set standards for excellence, and apply a product mindset to iterate curricula based on user insights and business

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and developing learning experiences across digital and in-person learning and development environments.
• 5+ years of experience as a people leader leading Design teams.
• 7+ years of experience as a learning experience designer building and designing learning experiences across digital and in-person learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Learning Experience Designers and mentor them in delivering high-impact learning journeys.
• Own the intake and prioritization of learning design initiatives for enterprise leadership programs.
• Leverage evidence-informed adult learning models across digital, video, classroom, and mobile delivery modes.
• Use a product mindset to iterate learning solutions based on data & analytics.
• Partner with business leaders and HR to identify critical leadership learning needs.
