Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Engineering Leader for HR Technology to drive platform strategy and delivery across multi-cloud environments. You will lead internal platforms, DevOps, and developer experience, while guiding AI solutions, system reliability, and cost optimization in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading technology and engineering programs.
• 8+ years leading teams in a matrix organization.
• 4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO teams to influence product development.
• 4+ years leading discovery sessions, workshops, demos, onboarding sessions, and enablement activities.
• 2+ years in a leadership role, coordinating across software cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years influencing stakeholders, manage vendor/budget relationships, and translate complex technical strategies.
• 2+ years of strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Platform strategy across architectures and AppDev teams.
• Build internal platforms and self-service tools to reduce developer cognitive load and improve experience.
• Scale CI/CD pipelines, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps to embed security and observability.
• Partner with product, architecture, and stakeholders to design scalable enterprise solutions.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and manage cloud spend, vendor negotiations and resource forecasting.
• Track engineering productivity and reliability metrics and manage cloud costs and compliance.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools, cloud-native services into platform and delivery lifecycle.
