Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of HR Operations & Shared Services with strong benefits administration experience and a track record of leading centralized HR services in a manufacturing environment. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution and oversees five direct reports across multiple locations.

You will lead corporate HR operations covering benefits, payroll, HRIS (Paylocity), and talent acquisition; establish service standards; manage vendors and compliance; and develop

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years HR experience, with 5+ years in corporate benefits and HRIS.
• Experience leading an HR services function and developing teams.
• Strong benefits administration expertise with broker management, RFPs, and negotiations.
• Experience with Paylocity or HRIS platforms.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple locations/states in manufacturing.
• Strong communication, project management, analytics, and MS 365 skills.
• SHRM or HRCI certification.
• Occasional travel to company locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate HR operations across benefits, payroll, HRIS, talent acquisition, and employee services.
• Establish HR priorities, service standards, and consistent processes across locations.
• Oversee benefits administration, open enrollment, education, and leave administration.
• Manage broker and vendor relationships including RFPs, negotiations, service performance, and renewal support.
• Optimize HR systems, preferably Paylocity, to improve automation, reporting, data accuracy, and employee self-service.
• Oversee accurate, timely multi-state payroll and support compliance across HR programs.
• Guide salaried recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, and recruiting vendor partnerships.
• Develop the team, manage budgets, oversee performance and merit cycles, and support HR integration during acquisitions.
