Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal’s Healthcare Industry Group is seeking a Director to lead complex healthcare engagements, including M&A diligence, integrations and turnarounds. The role focuses on end-to-end delivery, client interaction, and driving performance improvements across portfolios.

The position requires an entrepreneurial, collaborative leader with deep healthcare industry knowledge and strong financial and operational modeling capabilities. Travel and cross-functional coordination are expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of healthcare consulting or healthcare operations experience.
• Experience with M&A transactions and/or healthcare operations.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environment with strict deadlines.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and manage deliverables and workstreams.
• Develop hypotheses around value levers in M&A and due diligence.
• Oversee interview activities, data gathering, and modeling for projects.
• Communicate with clients and senior stakeholders clearly and regularly.
• Coach junior staff and manage project teams.
