Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) Healthcare Group is seeking a Director to lead complex M&A diligence, integrations, and separations for healthcare clients. You will guide end-to-end engagements, coordinate interviews, data modeling, and drive value creation initiatives while mentoring junior staff and presenting to executives.

The role emphasizes overseeing deal lifecycle activities, collaborating with finance, HR, and IT due diligence teams, and delivering high-quality updates to clients across the deal

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years of healthcare consulting or healthcare operations experience.
• Experience with M&A transactions and/or healthcare operations.
• Ability to manage in high-pressure environments with tight timelines.
• Strong client engagement and mentoring capabilities.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and financial modeling skills.
• Experience building and presenting to C-suite and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end M&A diligence, integrations, and separations.
• Oversee data gathering, modeling, and insights for clients.
• Develop hypotheses on value levers and cost reduction opportunities.
• Manage project teams and mentor junior staff.
• Engage with clients and build senior-level relationships.
• Drive proposal development and business development activities.
