Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Director to lead Healthcare Industry Group engagements focused on M&A diligence, integration planning, and interim leadership. You will guide teams, oversee interviews, data modeling, and deliverables for complex client assignments.

The role requires extensive healthcare consulting and M&A experience, strong client communication, and the ability to manage multi-workstream engagements with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Eight years of healthcare consulting or healthcare operations experience.
• Experience with M&A transactions.
• Ability to work under stringent timelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and financial modeling.
• Professional certifications (CPA/CFA) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead clients and internal teams through the full M&A lifecycle.
• Develop hypotheses around value levers in M&A transactions.
• Conduct interviews with senior client and target stakeholders.
• Rapidly analyze financial and operational data to identify value levers.
• Support Day 1 planning and transaction execution initiatives.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and optimize structures.
• Engage with C-suite and board on challenges and initiatives.
