Job summary

Western Digital Corp. is seeking an experienced Director of Benefits to design, deliver, and evolve our global benefits and wellbeing programs.

This role leads the US and EMEA regions, with governance for APAC, partnering with HR, Finance, Legal, and vendors to attract and retain top talent in a diverse, global workforce. The role drives end-to-end strategy for medical, dental, vision, retirement, FSA/HSA, and leave policies, while building a best-in-class wellbeing program and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7-10+ years in progressive benefits roles, with leadership experience.
• Experience managing US benefits programs in a large organization (5,000+ employees).
• Experience managing EMEA benefits across multiple countries.
• Strong knowledge of US benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA).
• Proven ability to lead vendor negotiations, RFPs, and contract management.
• Experience designing or managing employee wellbeing programs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end strategy, design, and administration of US benefits programs.
• Lead annual US benefits renewals, including vendor selection, cost modeling, and executive presentations.
• Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and state requirements.
• Partner with Legal and Finance to manage plan documents and filings.
• Provide strategic oversight for EMEA benefit programs across multiple countries.
• Oversee global wellbeing strategy and vendor ecosystem.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of benefits professionals.
