Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. is seeking a Director, Benefits to lead the global Employee Benefits function and to partner with leaders across the US, Canada, and EMEA.

This role designs, implements, administers, and communicates benefits, wellness, and Leave programs, ensuring competitive and compliant offerings. You will manage vendor relationships, drive strategic communication, and oversee the leave program while aligning with the company’s objectives, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 12 years of progressive Employee Benefits experience across multiple regions.
• 5 years leading benefits teams.
• Strong knowledge of self-funded plans, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related laws.
• Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and governance of global Employee Benefits programs.
• Partner with HR, Finance and leadership across US, Canada, and EMEA.
• Manage vendor relationships and compliance with ERISA, COBRA, FMLA.
• Oversee budgeting, communication, and education on benefits.
• Direct leave and disability programs and leave policies.
