Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking a seasoned market research leader to define and conduct global B2B primary research.

You will translate business requirements into briefs and survey designs, conduct in-depth interviews or focus groups, and develop survey instruments using tools like SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or WebSurveyCreator. You will analyze data with Excel, SPSS, R, or similar software and present insights to executive leadership, outlining actions to support enterprise performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Business or Social Sciences.
• 10+ years of market research experience, 3+ in B2B.
• Ability to create and program survey instruments; manage data files.
• Experience with statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Define and conduct global B2B primary market research initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into briefs and survey designs.
• Create interview guides or focus group scripts and conduct interviews/focus groups.
• Develop survey instruments and collect data using online tools.
• Analyze data using Excel, SPSS, R or similar tools and present insights to leadership.
• Recommend actions to support strategy, marketing, sales and program management.
• Contribute to the annual customer insights strategy.
