Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Director of Field Effectiveness for Rare Disease and Oncology to guide the US Field Excellence team. You will oversee programs, optimize field operations, and drive insights to improve sales performance.

The role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. The role supports a flexible on-site schedule (2–3 days/week) with remote options, reporting to the Executive Director, US Field Excellence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree with related field experience.
• 4+ years leading sales analytics/field effectiveness or similar disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of people leadership or team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee field effectiveness programs and initiatives.
• Design organizational structure, roles, and goals for the function.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve field performance and efficiency.
• Monitor performance, identify issues, and propose solutions.
• Coordinate field projects across customer targeting, reporting, and omnichannel efforts.
• Mentor and develop the team; collaborate with GCCI for alignment.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to adapt capabilities to business needs.
