Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Director, Field Effectiveness in the US to lead a team that enables the sales force and drives insights for Rare Disease and Oncology. You will optimize field performance, support incentive programs, and transform field systems and capabilities to achieve better commercial outcomes.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, program management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a flexible work arrangement and a focus on staying ahead in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or a Master/Bachelor with sufficient experience; 4+ years in sales analytics/field effectiveness.
• 4+ years of direct people management / leadership experience with teams, projects or programs.
• Experience in building and developing teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for program management and oversight of field effectiveness initiatives.
• Develop department design, roles, responsibilities, and objectives for field effectiveness.
• Lead or co-lead special initiatives such as sales force size, structure, and launch readiness.
• Monitor field performance; identify issues and opportunities; propose solutions.
• Coordinate execution of field projects: targeting, reporting, omnichannel, digital, transformation.
