Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Manager, Field Effectiveness to coordinate and lead initiatives that boost field sales productivity. You will support the Director/Associate Director in implementing strategies across the Rare Disease Business Unit, driving cohesion with cross-functional partners, analytics, and field systems.

The role is a flexible commuter position to the Deerfield, IL or Thousand Oaks, CA offices. On-site 2–3 days a week with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in sales analytics, field effectiveness, management consulting, or commercial operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs and driving field-improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to guide field sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead field effectiveness initiatives across the business unit.
• Analyze sales data and optimize field processes and tools.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to align on execution and incentives.
• Develop and monitor dashboards and metrics for field performance.
• Manage multi-project portfolios and drive cross-functional improvements.
