Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking an Associate Director, Field Effectiveness to lead field success across a major business unit, advising sales leadership and aligning field initiatives with analytics, operations, and incentives. The role requires strategic thinking and collaboration.

This flexible commuter role supports Deerfield or Thousand Oaks on-site 2-3 days weekly, with opportunities to build a high‑performing team and partner with CD&A and global colleagues.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent in a relevant field with experience in sales analytics or field effectiveness in life sciences.
• Experience in pharma/biotech sales analytics, field effectiveness, or life sciences management consulting.
• Strong leadership and analytical capabilities with cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of managers and senior managers to drive field effectiveness.
• Partner with sales leadership to connect strategy and execution across field initiatives.
• Develop and monitor field metrics, dashboards, and analytics with CD&A
• Guide launch readiness, sizing and structure projects, and cross‑functional programs.
