Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate Director, Field Effectiveness to optimize field performance across a major business unit. You will guide, advise, and support the sales force to achieve efficiency and insights through analytics, governance, and transformative programs.

The role is flexible between Deerfield and Thousand Oaks, with on-site work 2–3 days per week, and you’ll lead a team of managers to deliver high-impact field initiatives aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent in life sciences, analytics, or business field.
• Advanced degree required with relevant sales analytics or field effectiveness experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus extensive industry experience also acceptable.
• 7+ years of field sales analytics or life sciences consulting experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Liaison for all Field Excellence capabilities and alignment of initiatives.
• Advise sales leadership to connect strategy with execution across field initiatives.
• Lead or co-lead strategic initiatives such as Sales Force size and launch readiness.
• Support development and execution of field effectiveness programs for the portfolio.
• Collaborate with US Analytics and cross-functional partners on metrics and dashboards.
