Torrey Holistics is seeking a Director of Estimating & Preconstruction to lead the organization’s preconstruction pricing, standards, and data practices across major programs. You will own margin outcomes, pricing reviews, and the enterprise estimating database, driving continuous improvement and strategic alignment with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in estimating/preconstruction with leadership experience across programs.
• Proven track record of improving estimate accuracy and margin performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy, integrity, and margin impact of preconstruction estimates across all platform categories.
• Lead price reviews, establish assumptions, risk registers, contingencies, and escalation logic.
• Own estimate-to-actual performance and drive benchmarking and corrective action.
• Develop organization-wide estimating standards, templates, and data practices.
• Oversee the preconstruction relational database as an enterprise asset and drive ERP cost alignment.
• Set field-ops estimating standards and lead VE strategy on large pursuits.
• Present pricing and margin performance to executive leadership and the Board.
