The Senior Director will be a trusted client-facing leader, responsible for scaling a high-performing team while driving strategy, process development, and collaboration across operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the preconstruction function, including estimating, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
  • Partner closely with operations to ensure seamless alignment between preconstruction deliverables and field execution.
  • Develop and mentor a growing team, creating clear career pathways and building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of estimates, project pursuits, and deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
  • Establish scalable systems and repeatable processes to support long-term growth.
  • Represent the company in business development activities including client meetings, industry events, and sales presentations.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to expand preconstruction capacity and improve margin performance.
Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in estimating, contract management, and leadership roles within the construction industry.
  • Broad expertise beyond estimating, including scheduling, value engineering, and operational alignment.
  • Strong client-facing presence: articulate, confident, and professional in managing stakeholders.
  • Proven success in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience navigating high-growth or startup-like environments within larger enterprises.
  • Deep knowledge of market pricing across diverse geographic regions.
  • Willingness to contribute to business development efforts.

Preferred:
